Highly sought after by those who appreciate the attributes of this model combination and its extreme rarity. Combining the V8 with Jaguar’s traditional ride quality, these were primarily exported to America, while very few were kept for the home market, particularly late models with the re-styled back and upgraded interior. The engine was shared with Jaguar’s XK sports and top-grade XJ saloon producing 300 bhp, travelling 0-60 in just 6.2 seconds and a top speed of 155 MPH due to the light, compact body, yet MPG was comparable with that of the smaller engine cars. Being a January ‘06 registered car, this is one squeaks in with the low road tax. We purchased it from the original owner who used the car initially as a business commuting vehicle, retained it in retirement, and has mainly stored it for the past 3 years with just 29,000 miles. Since acquiring the car we have had the car fully serviced including the recommended gearbox service and new discs and pads all round. The car has excellent tyres and wheels are refurbished with new badges. Finished in deep Radiance Red with Sand Hide upholstery, this Jaguar presents beautifully in all respect and has a future benefit of having been waxoiled underneath. The dateless number plate is included with the sale.
