The very first model produced by Ford when their Dagenham plant opened in 1931, it was the commercial version of the famous Model A saloon. This example was bought new by a Scottish coal merchant, but we believe withdrawn from service around the 1960’s until it was rescued in 1972 and remained with one owner until 2004. Extensively refurbished and returned to the road, it has been with a collector for the past 13 years. Now lightly patinated in some aspects of its paintwork, but still tidy as it might have been when a 4- or 5-year-old vehicle, there are certainly no scruffy aspects and other characterful features like the loading deck and ancillaries remain excellent. The cabin was exquisitely restored, and the timbers are beautiful. Recently road tested and driving nicely- this rare and charming ex-commercial is ready to be enjoyed. Finished in Maroon with Black wings, vinyl roof, running boards and seating.
