In the present market, Jaguar’s XK provides a winning choice for customers who favour a prestige sports car with classic lines and modern handling. With a dwindling supply of mollycoddled examples available, pristine XK’s are becoming scarce. And as to their looks, being a modernised E Type inspiration, which due to their increasing rarity is starting to turn heads, it is a sure-fire winner for the future. This is the one to hold, especially being the rarer ‘supercharged’ model which not only delivers phenomenal performance, but has pleasing visual features such as bonnet louvers and a fine mesh frontal intake. The XKR mini boot spoiler and ten spoke alloy wheels are also attractive. This car looks awesome in the flesh having been specially ordered  from new in a colour scheme coordinating silvers, greys and  black- very James Bond. We first purchased it directly from the second owner who was acquainted with the first. It had always enjoyed the gentle life being one of numerous vehicles for the owner to choose from, hence the mileage was just 15,000. The third owner detailed the vehicle fastidiously and arranged for thorough protection to be carried out on the under-side after he purchased the vehicle from us in 2012. Lambs’ wool over rugs have been tailored for the car and the interior has been tastefully enhanced with brushed aluminium finishes to the instrument clusters, pedals and gear surround, which looks striking  against the veneers. With a current mileage of just 18,000 from new, we are delighted to have re- acquired the car. The service file is enormous and contains bill copies back to new and stamped service record. Finished in Platinum Silver with Charcoal Hide, this is a terrific example.
