One of the final S Types produced, this car was retained by the factory for its first few months before being sold through the Jaguar dealer network to the first and only private owner from whom we have just bought it direct with just 17,000 miles covered since new. Garaged and used as an occasional vehicle ‘for best’ there is a very good servicing record with the supplying dealer and local Jaguar specialist dealer. All bills are present so the history is completely provable and bears testament to an extremely reliable example. The service book is stamped through and even the original purchase receipt is in the file. Glistening in Dark Emerald Green (metallic) with Charcoal Hide and attractive aluminium dashboard, this is a fabulous combination that harks back to the sportier heritage Jaguars. The engine compartment which still bears original factory markings is a measure of the car’s amazing ‘time-capsule’ condition. A very distinctive looking modern retro-classic with an unbeatably low mileage, fabulous history and just the one private owner. Very, very difficult to find again!
