The flagship model of its time and this is of the ‘John Egan’ era Series 3 when the silken V12 was at its very best being an HE (higher efficiency model), but before legislation measures resulted in any strangulation of performance which significantly affected the later and export cars of which many have returned to the UK market over the past few years, that are not quite the same. This car had one lady owner right up until we first purchased it in 2012 from her family and then sold it to a collector who used the vehicle sparingly, though servicing was kept up as needed. We re-purchased the car 2 years ago selling to the last owner who has used it regularly for longer journeys whilst cherishing it and ensuring proper maintenance is upheld. New Longstone supplied Pirellis were recently fitted all round costing over £1,000 (though the pristine spare still dates from new!) This Daimler has covered just 27,000 miles since new, yet the book has no more space for stamps, and some services have been carried out just a few hundred miles apart. The condition of the vehicle is as one would hope for with immaculate bodywork, a mint, cosseted interior still smelling like new and the rarely seen sheep-skin footwell rugs are still in place. The chrome is immaculate, and the engine compartment lovely. Finished in one of the best colour schemes- Claret with Tan Hide, the car looks and performs beautifully
